Ok, I have finally gotten around to posting your final poetry projects, the "Where I'm From" poems. I am going to put 5 or so on each post. Please go on, read the poems and let your classmates know what you liked and found interesting about their poems.

Katherine's is so good because I agree with her music choices and her candy choices.I also love
APPLE PIE because of the apples the flavor.I love ACDC like Alex c it is so awesome. I'm suprised that Noah put in Lady gaga because she just famous a little while ago or I might be wrong!?!I wonder why Katherine put short sleeves and snow pants in the same sentince.I agree with Ginia because I love guitar hero.

I think kathirines is cool because she arranged the words so that it says I'm from,
I'm from.Thats cool.
I like Alexs because he had a lot of sayings that he says. I think thats cool!
I like Noahs because he had more of feeling than of stuff and things he did. I liked it!

The first sentence in Gianna's poem makes my mouth water. I can just see that spaghetti and garlic bread!!!!!:D I like how she incorporated things that she likes and her parents like. At least I think.......? She also incorporated VIDEO GAMESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought that Katherine's poem was really good. My favorite part of that poem was the end. It sounds to me like she might be wrapping up the whole poem with the last line.
I thought Gianna's poem made me hungry. My mom and Gianna's mother used to work together.
When she mentioned badmitten It made me think of the time my stepfather and I played badmitten at my grandmother's house.

I noticed that you can tell whose peom is whose by the way that they wrote it. Like on Emma's it says "I'm From The World of Cats". You can tell that's Emmas because we all know she loves cats. On Alex C.'s it says "I'm from a country with kings and queens and roast lamb with gravy." We can tell that is Alex C. because he is from Great Britian. You know that mine is mine because you know that I play hockey and violin and that I sail.

I agree with Katherine and Will D. because I LOVE apple pie. I also agree with Katherine because she said "I'm from cats and I'm from dogs" I LOVE CATS!!!!!! And I don't really know why Alex C. put "Max". Is that your nickname or something? And I agree with Gianna and Will AGAIN because I like Guitar Hero, too. ( Even though I'm not very good at it :S ) Also liked Noah's because it was descriptive.

Yo Everybody,
I like Katherine's because it's so her! But some of it is her family like scrapbooking because her mom is a crazy scrapbooker and Madonna. I also like how Emma said "I'm from Vegetariansville" because she's a vegetarian. She didn't just say "I'm from being a vegetarian" because that would be pretty boring.
I think it's SO funny in Alex C's poem that one of the sayings is "Sheesh!" and everybody in my family always says that. I just think that's so serendipidious.(I used the word of the day!!)
I'm not trying to pick favorites here, but Noah's is really cool. There are some parts I am wondering about though so, Noah, if you come on, can you answer them? I'm wondering why you have the sadness in your heart or was that a family thing? I thought the most funny part was when he said "I am the guy who works with James Bond." I just thought that that was hilarious! So, that means that you watch James Bond movies, right?
I like how Gianna's poem is kind of snappy with each paragraph. It makes a pace in the poem. I have a question though. Who is Suzanne and Enrico? Are they your grandparents because the names seem kind of old fashioned.
I can't wait until my poem goes on and hear what everybody thinks about it:)

I like Katherine's because it perfectly describes her. I like the line that says "I'm from apple pie and cheese cake". I like it because I love both those things. I also like how Emma's doesn't just compare two things, it compares three or four things. I found somehting interesting in Noah's poem. It says " I am the guy that works with James Bond. I also like how Noah's says " I am the Earth". It could mean so many things. It could mean that he helps the Earth. It could mean that he really IS the Earth. What else do you think it means?

I find it funny that as i was reading Emma's i didnt even have to see the name. Its obvious it was hers because of the cats!! The resst of the poem dosnt seem like Emma. :P Theres No cats involved with the rest.
But then reading Gianna's I had to read the name to know who it was. Because it didn't involve cheese.
I think Katherines poem was good because of the end. Its a really good way to rap up the poem.

I like Katherine's because it involves Hockey (my favorite sport) and movies. I think Gianna's was a good one because Guitar Hero's AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I like Alex's because this MAX! MAX! MAAAAAAAAAAAAX! that's what happens at my house. Noah's is real good because James Bond is awesome. Katherine also has my favorate candy Skittles. Henry

Emmas poem is awesome!!!:O She has alot of stuff that relates to each other. Like Erin Hunter and cats. I love her ending!!!
This poem has alot of stuff that I already knew about her, but there are things that I didn't know about her. I had no idea that she liked Coldplay!!! And judging from her last sentence I am guessing that she likes winter.

I thought that Katherine's Where I'm From poem was a little bit funny.I think that Emma's poem was interesting because it told some things that she has done.I thought that at the end of Alex's poem the MAAAAAAAAAAX part was funny a little.I thought that Noah's poem was a bit cool because I think that he liked those two people Lady gaga and James Bond.I thought that in Gianna's poem the food parts made me really hungry.

I found it interesting that all the five poems have a different set up. For example, Katherine used only one paragraph and Noah used four paragraphs. Just like everyone else, Gianna's poem made me want eat a nice big bowl of spaghetti! Katherine, why did you write about a GPS and a map, did you have to study those things a lot when you went somewhere? Alex C., I have a feeling that Max is your brother! I have heard plenty of stories about you and him. Noah, the last two sentences of your first paragraph are unbelievable! Where did you come up with that?

Alex L., thanks for the complement! And yes, I do like Colplay. P.s. Alex you spelled Colplay wrong you spelled it Coldplay but it's really Colplay. :P And yes, my favorite season is winter because there are no bugs and I like playing in the snow. :D ( Bugs scare me ) Gianna, I wrote the one about c-a-t-n-i-p ( I still can't say it or I will go CRAZY! ) And by the way, in my poem Erin Hunter is the person that wrote the Warriorcats series and they are my all-time favorite books! And Katherine what is Mrs.Beasly???? And Kiddles???? Are they T.V. shows??? Or books??? Either way I haven't ever heard of them. And I think Herb is right that you can tell who wrote the poem just by reading it. Like on mine it has cats and on Katherine's ice rinks because we all know she plays hockey. :)

I like what other people said about mine. Alot of you wonder who Max is. Max is my little demon brother who will probably annoy me to the ends of the earth. I like food and video games which Gianna's poem included. I like Noah's poem becuase it was very descriptive. Like some other people I'm surprised that Gianna didn't include cheese.(I still like it more though.)
