My mom used to like these groups:Partridge Family, the Osmonds,and the Beatles,
My mom also used to like these singers:Carly Simond, and carol king,
My mom used to like these Celebritys:David cassidy,and donny Osmonds,
My mom used to buy mint juleps,Good and Fruities,Squirls,and pixie sticks,
My mom’s favorite t.v. show was Bewitched,
My mom’s favorite series of books was Pippi long stocking,

I’m from Winny the Poo and classic rock ,from solving the mystery with Sherlock Holmes to swimming and fishing the water so cool,
From “your mother wears combat boots” and Mr Kennedy who sadly died,to the sweet almond joys with the nut inside and the cool Kinks “so rocken”,
To peanut butter fudge so warm and good,and the up and down of the yo yo’s ,and bee bee guns that stung so bad to the many more adventures that await us.

I love how long Sarah's because it was so much like the world was like back then and I experinsed some of that stuff too.I like how Alex l put in Whinny the poo. Also the combat boot thing.Arelis didn't capolize her Name Ms.Simmonds!!!! I also like how Andrew used his Mom's perspicive and his.Arelis's is cool because of the way it sounds like the Grandma's smell thing.

I like Sarah's candy choices and her book choices. I also say "Duh" alot of the time nor can I bear the heat of Summer.(I like the no school though:D.) I like Andrews because it talks about his mom. I like Alex.L's because I loved using them too although I prefer the bow and arrow. I like how Arelis's said that she was her faviroite snack. LATERZ!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a question for Andrew. Where is Moody, Maine? I agree with Sarah that Taylor Lautner is cute. I noticed a relation between Sarah and Andrew's. They both mentioned the Beatles. Jeesm, parents definitely like to mention the Beatles to their kids. Andrew said Carly Simonds, Mrs. Simonds are you related??? That was an interrogative sentence!!! What are mint juleps??? They don't sound very appetizing. Could you do a blog on your favorite animal??? I know it doesn't have anything to do with reading, but it would be fun!!! You COULD read a book on your favorite animal. Bon Voyage for now!!!

Andrew's poem was interesting. Instead of writing about himself, he wrote about his Mom.

It is different from all the other poems. There's alot that I don't know about the poem. I don't know who Donny Osmonds is. I don't know what mint juleps are and I don't know who Carol King is!!!!!

Mrs.Simonds Arelis didn't speel her name with a capital letter( Sorry Arelis) .I really love Alex Lumia's poem because, the Mr.Kenedy dieing and the combat boots thing with his mom.I also like how Andrew wrote about his momand him- selve.I like how Arelis wrote "My Grandmas smell" thing.Sarah Lord of the Rings just freaks me out with the little elf dude!!!!I also can't believe that Sarah wrote down Twilght because I dought that Sarah read Twilight I'm not sure that Sarah read this when she was little.

I like Sarah's because she puts things in there that you might not understand like, "my fathers saviour". I don't not like I just think its cool how she puts it in there! I also like Arelis's because theres this one little part when she says one thing she's from, from three people I think it's the fourth paragraph, it's really really cool, its unique! I also like Alex's because it only has three paragraphs but its really good with the quotes and sayings I love it!

When he mentioned the winny the poo part because I used to watch winny the poo when I was little.And the part that said From my mother wears combat boots part was a little bit funny.Also when he mentioned one of his snacks it made me a little hungry.It was also cool when he mentioned about a yo'yo.

I like how Alex L. did stuff from when he was little and then did stuff he likes now. And I agree with him when he said, " Peanut butter fudge " I love fudge! Especially my Nana's home-made fudge. And I agree with Sarah because I loved the book and movie Twilight and I love the Beatles. :) I also like Arelis's because insted of doing I'm from she did I am. And I think hers was discriptive. :D I'm not really sure why Andrew did one about his mom but it was really good. Alex L. does your mom really wear combat boots? I'm just wondering. I really liked Sarah's poem! It was really interesting. I also liked Alex's because it was not boring. It was also interesting. It is cool how Andrew basically did his whole poem on his mom and told really specific things about her. That's all I have today, but I will probably do 3 more blogs this week since this one is not very long.

I liked Arelis's poem a lot!!! I think that it was set up really nice! I also liked the way Andrew set up his poem. How he said "My mom is from moody Maine" (that kind of thing).

I agree with Katherine that all of the poems were good. I liked Sarah's poem because I found it to be funny and it made me hungry in some parts. After all, M & M's are my favorite candy too.
Arelis's poem was good too. I liked how she included her family members. I liked how she wrote about different animals and things that she liked.

I agree with Katherine. I thought it was funny Sarah put some opinion into her poem. Sarah's was very long. I think that might be so because we wrote he poems then we went home , interviewed our parents, and then wrote more. I say that because mine was pretty long and that's what happened to me. I also like (as well) how Andrew based his poem on things about his mom. These poems don't only tell a lot about the person who wrote them but it also tells about their parents. WHO IS FUZZY GUM??? I am sooo exited to go to the vernal pools!!! Adios for now!!!

I liked how Sarah's explains so much! I looked at one sentance, and I kept reading and it got better and better! It seemed like she put a lot of effort into her writing. When I read Arelis's, it was cool how she said "I am the hungry lion" because that could mean many different things.

I wonder why Andrew chose to write about his mom. Most of our other classmates did themselves, but he chose his mom. I agree with Alex L, peanut butter fudge is good. I think Alex L.'s poem is awesome! Did you ever get shot with a bee bee gun? You said that it hurt so bad. I just figured it was you who experienced it, right? Was it Michaela?? I think yo-yos are an object that everyone used because not only our grandparents and parents used them, we used them too!(I still can't do it, though.)
