Bullies! In "Maniac Magee" both the East End and the West End, there are bullies.

One time was when he left Amanda's house after he untied the knot the bullies chased Jeffry and he ran out of town, and another one is when Mars Bar ripped Amanda's book and Mars Bar said it was Jeffry but Amanda knew it was Mars Bar.
I think what makes someone a bully is when the call people names, push, hit, tease, and so on, and when someone is a bully it means they don't feel good about themselves so they pick on other people.
I think he will leave town and go to the next town over and live in the woods and make a hut out of sticks.
My questions are where is Jeffry's family and where are they and if there alive were are they?

One of th times that Maniac got bullied was when he ran into Mars Bars, and he tried to take away Amanda's book from maniac then he ripped it and blamed it on Maniac. He also got bullied when someone wrote Go Away Fish-belly on the front of the Beils house.I think that someone becomes a bully when they have problems of their own or they are insucure about themselfs.I think that he might return to his origanal home and find out that his aunt and uncle are getting along and stay with them. My question is why did he runaway one he found Amanda's ensyclopedia ripped up because he did not do it, but he might feel like that somehow he was conected to the reason why or who ripped it up.......

'Maniac' has to deal with bullying when 'somebody' writes FISHBELLY GO HOME, it doesn't hurt anyone physically it just would hurt on the inside plus it was really rude to do that. The second bully situation was when the crazy man tells 'Maniac' "Go home to his own kind." RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that it was unselfish of 'Maniac' to leave so that the Beals didn't have to put up with everyone disliking him.But now that 'Maniac' left I think he's either going back to his Aunt and Uncle or go to another family and stay with them for awile and then move on to another and so on and so forth.
I don't really have anyother questions though, I mean there is so 'Maniac' needs to think about and consider I don't know how he's going to make it through...

2. I think what makes somebody a bully is when they are jealous or when they are not happy so they think it will make them selfs happy to make fun of someone

1.One time Jeffery got bullied was when Mars Bars ripped Amanda's book, and Mars Bars said it was Jeffery.(and we all know it was Mars Bars.
2.What makes someone a bully is calling people names, kicking, punching, and sometimes they make fun of you for being YOU.
3.My pridiction is that Amanda will cross the line seperating the blacks, and the whites, and find Jeffery, and, MARS BARS will come back.

Jeffery has been bullied by the "pro" pitcher, and by Mars and the Cobras.
Bullies are baddies that do mean things to make themselves feel better. Bullies bully younger people who are easy to pick on.
Jeffery probably will go back to Bridgeport and sleep in his Uncle's basement.
I'm wondering what Amanda will do to get Jeffery back, if she still cares about him.

Maniac has been affected by bullying when mars bars ripped a page from the book that Amanda gave him.Another time Maniac has been bullied was when mars bar wrote on the bricks go home fish belly.
It makes you a bully when you make fun of people and you hurt there feelings also when you exclude a lot of people.
I think Maniac will go to his Aunt and uncles house and his aunt and uncle will be so happy to see him again.
I think after he goes to his aunt and uncles house he will leave to go on a journey.

i think the first time he had to deal with a bully is when marsbars ripped his book.i think that bullys just have hard lifes at home and instead of tacking out their anger on their parents they take it out on other kids.my prediction is that he will move the east end .my questions are where will he go,will the cobras follow him,is there a deer shed where ever he deiceds to go.

I think Maniac was being bullied when someone wrote fish belly on the house, And when he was bullied by Mars Bars because he blamed Maniac for ripping Amanda's book. I think a bully is someone that is in secure with them selves so they be mean to others. I don't have any questions about this book.

One time Maniac Magee was bullied was when the bullies chased Jeffery out of town and then there was the other bullies in the other side of the town. Then there was the time when Mars Bar asked Maniac Magee to take a bite out of his Mars Bar then Mars bar grabbed Maniac Magee's book and Maniac still held on to it. Then Mars Bar let go of the book and ripped a page out. I think to make a bully you do and say mean things over a period of time. People bully other people because they may be jealous or may be having problems of their own. I think that Maniac may go back to the zoo and stay with the deer again. He is probably going to eat some of the apples at the zoo and he will never ever go back to Amanda's house again. Will Maniac ever get bullied again? Will he ever be in a house again? What will happen to him? Will he ever get a job when he gets older?

I think one time maniac was affected by the bullies was when mars bar ripped Amanda's book. But I think Amanda was a bystander that did something she didn't believe mars bar that maniac ripped her book. I also think that another time maniac got bullied was when someone wrote fishbelly go home on the side of the Beals house I think mars bar did that because he called him fishbelly a lot in the book. I think someone is a bully if they make fun of people or be mean and make them feel bad about them selfs.I think that maybe he might go back to the deer pen in the park like where he lived before he moved into the Beals house.I think he will try to find a job but no one will let him work at their shop or restorant. I am wondering what will happen to maniac?

I would like to compliment on Sophia's comment. I ;like how he comment was long and answered all of the questions. I also like how she explained why people bully. I like it when people write long comments so it shows that they put a lot of effort into their comment. Sometimes when people write short comments and they do not answer all of the questions it looks like that they were rushing and did not really care. I am not saying this to you guys but I have seen it on other websites before. I also liked that Sophia had a question at the end. Sometimes it makes the story more interesting if you have a question. I had some questions for the story and it made the story very interesting for me. In my book right now, I stopped at a very very very very interesting spot and now I am eager to read the book. I was in the reading zone when I stopped. Such a bad idea!!
P.S I CAN NOT WAIT TO READ MANIAC MAGEE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
