The Sister's Grimm

Discussion Points:

1.  What did you like about this book talk?
2. Is this a book you might add to your "What's Next" list?
3. What other books have you read in the fantasy genre?

Mara I liked some things about your booktalk. I liked how you used expression and gave away little parts. It wouldn't spoil the book, but it would give you an idea if you wanted to read it.

I probably will forget to read this book since I have many more to read. I have read so many fantasy books, I have read Warriors, Eragon, Harry Potter, and am working on the Lord of the Rings.

Hola! Mrs. Simonds,
I noticed that when Mara was talking she talked lould, clearly, used expression, and lokked up at the adience. I think she did a really job.

I might add it to my "What's Next" list because I tried readin it in thr second grade but it was too chalanging.
So I put it down and I always say I going to read it but I never get to it.

I have read fantsy books before but I normly don't think of the genra I think of what it is about. I am going to try to get out of tht habbit.

Hello Mrs. Simonds,

I saw that Mara used expression, she talked loudly, clearly, and she did all of the things you said we should do when we do a speech. I think she did a really good job with it.

I was reading the The Sisters Grimm in the second grade but it was to challenging so I stopped. I am always saying to my self that I should read it but I never get the chance to.

I have read fantasy book but I normally don't pay attention to the genera just what the book is about.

Emma

Hi Mrs.S

I liked Mara's book talk because she explained what a Jabberwaky is.I think I would add this book to my books I want to read list. The only books I know in the fantasy genre are the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. My dad read them to me when I was little.

Aloha Mrs.Simonds,
I liked the expression. It put a lot of enthusiasam in it it was really good. I don't think I because I realy don't like fantasy I am more of a fiction person. Some people don't even think there is a difference but I think there is. I haven't read a lot of books in the fansty gere but one I can think of is "Palace Of Mirrors" it was good but I have read better.
Even though I don't like to read fansty I love to write it. I have a question is "The Hunger Games" fansty if it is I love one fantsy book!

HI Mrs. Simonds
1) I liked when mara didn't use boring words. I also liked when when she read the book talk with aspersion. I could here her because she wasn't too quit.
2)I don't think I would add this book to my WHAT'S NEXT LIST because I am not a big fan of what the book is about.
3)I have read a fantasy called ESIO TROT, and THE SECRET OF THE GUMM STREET GIRLS. I have read other fantasy books.

3. I've read a tiny bit of Percy Jackson. ( I've listend to one of the Percy Jackson books on tape). And my favorite, HARRY POTTER!!

Cassie,
I agree that Mara didn't use any boring words. She used exciting words. I also agree that Mara used aspersion. I also agree that she wasn't quiet, she was loud enough to understand what she was saying. The title The Secret Of The Gumm Street Girls sounds like a good book title.

To Mrs. Simonds,
1. The book talk was good. In the book talk I think she could have talked a little bit slower and used more details.
2. I do not think I will add this to my "whats next list" because I am not a big fan of mystery books. But I do like scary books. I also like Fantasy.
3. I do not read a lot of Fantasy books so I can only remember 1 called gooseberry park.

Peace out home dogs,

Hi Mrs.Simonds
I really liked how Mara described the book however I do think that she gave a little to much away. Maybe I will I don't really like mystery books they are to creepy for me. I haven't really read a lot of books in the fantasy
genre but I have read "The Hunger Games" it was really good I like Rue the most. I almost cried when she died.
