I think that the adverbs one is very cool because it gives youn a neat and fun way to learn about adverbs.It is also cool because the store looks just like a candy store. It is also very cool how all their familey ran the shop. The adjective one was cool with the whole camping idea. It was also very cool how they sang and how the video was played out and stuff. I think that the adjectives one is very cool. I also think the adverbs one was cool to but I just like the adjectives one better. I cant wait till tomorrow so we can watch the other one its going to be so much fun. I also think that the videos are hilarious. I cant wait for more bloging!

I think it was a fun way to learn about grammer. Now a days you hear commercials like "Don't miss the season finale at 10:00." I can just imagine wathing T.V. and then hear "Lolly,Lolly,get your adverbs here!" I like how catchy the tunes are in the song. Please post some more videoes. When did you leave for your train? How did you get on your train? I thought that the school rocks videos were a little bit annoying with the singing.Also the SchoolHouse Rocks video looked old to me.Then when it showed them giving stuff to customers while singing was boring as well.

I think that the videos are a fun way to learn about parts of speech. I also think that they are pretty funny and they are not boring like somethings we have to do in school. (like the dreaded MATH) :) By the way Mrs.S, how do you under line? I don't know how. :( My reaction to the video was.... I was _HAPPILY_ smiling. I liked the adverbs one, but I liked the adjectives one better, But thats just my opinion. Which one is your favorite??? And Will D. you forgot to capitalize Mrs. Simonds M. (How dare you!) :P My Mom's camera is very _SHINY_. I still don't know how to underline. D:

Here is my adverb sentence. I went to the store QUICKLY and walked back SLOWLY. ( I can't underline on my computer) I love that video!!! I am going to be singing that all day tomorrow!!! I think that the schoolhouse rock videos are good for learning because they are catchy. Catchy is good for learning because you keep singing them so you remember them. If you want to compare adverbs and adjectives just remember: adverbs explain adjectives. So if you walked slow to the store, just make slow an adverb by replacing slow with slowly. Technically, if you add "ly" to the end of a word, it is an adverb. There ARE other adverbs that don't end in ly, though. For example, very is an adverb. Peace out for now!!!

I really like school house rock!
I wacthed school house rock movie (it has a bunch of different clips) about laws and stuff like that. There is one with a bill that wants to be a law and he is sitting on the top of capital hill waiting for the presidant to see him and he is telling (or should I say singing) his story.
I hope Mrs. Simonds posts more school house rock to comment on!!!

I really liked the video "Lolly lolly lolly get your adverbs here". I liked it because 1. it had a catchy tune 2. it really taught me about adverbs 3. It had a cool shop in it.
I think that Mrs. Simonds should find a video on clauses. The reason is because we all do not know what a clause is.
She should also find one on commas, quotation marks, and apostrophes.
I have another sentence:

I think the school house rock videos are cool. They have really cool details!!! An example is in the adverbs video when they are getting supplies for a guy. Each time a box got stacked on top of another a word on the label would change. They remind my of the Charlie Brown videos. I think it would be cool to make one!!!

I thought the adverb video was really cute but my favorite one is still the pronouns. My sentence for the adverb is:
I ran very quickly down the street as I breathed easily.
I don't know how to underline the words on this but the adverbs are easily, very and quickly. The only thing about the adverb video is that, I didn't understand it very well. I don't get the lolly-pop thing. I get how that store sold adverbs but why lolly-pops? The difference between adverbs and adjectives is that an adverb descibes a verb. An adjective descibes a noun. Pretty simple, huh.

I agree with Will the adverbs one is cool. I disagree with Andrew these movies weren't annoying. These movies were funny. The characters in the adverb movie moved quickly and were strangely cool. Cheeseball brought up today's commercials, I like schoolhouse rock better than "buy your zhuzhu pet now." I wonder when they started putting commercials on kids programs.

My sentence is, I'm really, really hungry! I liked the videos they are really cool. It reminded me of all the spelling packets that we did in school. An adjective describes a noun. An example of this is, Our dog is yellow. Yellow is the adjective which describes the dog. An adverb describes a verb, an adjective or even another adverb. For example in my sentence, I'm really, really hungry, the adverb is really which describes hungry the verb.

The SchoolHouse Rocks videos look like they could help alot. I didnt get what adverbs were, but after I watched the SchoolHouse Rocks videos I knew what they were. Adverbs and Adjectives are almost they same thing. They're both Describing words. But an Adverb tells how you did something. Like- I ran very quickly. An Adjective is describing something. Like- That coat is so cool.

I think the adjective song was more catchy and the adverb one was cool, with it looking like a candy store. I think you learn more from the adjective one because they explained it better with the song than the adverb one. The adverb one went kind of fast, and in the end, I don't think I still fully know what adverbs are after that video.

Ok, here is my sentance:
Haylie and I walked quickly through the halls, but walked slowly passed the cafatieria so we could smell the food. I can't underline, but the verb is walked. It's just a random sentance I thought of... I like these videos but sometimes, I don't understand what they are saying. I think my favorite is the unpack your adjectives. It really teaches you how to use adjectives. The little person unpacking words from the bag reminds me of a dude from Charlie Brown.

I really like the videos! I think they help you learn and they stick in your head because of the tune! Seriously it is really catchy! Cool! The word catchy has cat in it! Yay! Are there anymore school House Rocks videos? If there are can you post them? What are they on? DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO UNDERLINE? I still don't know. :O Darn! I wish I knew! Maybe you can't underline... I don't know. This is off subject but do you guys know we are going roller skating on April 13th? The whole 5th grade is going! Roller skating for 4 hours, WooHoo! I completely agree with Julia when she says Schools House Rock is good because they're catchy. When they're catchy, you remember them. When you remember them, you sing them over and over again until people start yelling at you because they got it stuck in their head. Anywho, (as Julia always says),another reason they're good is because they're fun and also educational. My dad always sang "Conjuction junction, what's your function?" and I always remembered it. Actually, I didn't see it until we watched it class. Isn't that funny?
I think school house rock videos are very useful because you learn so much in about three minutes. Herb said that he wasn't too familiar with adverbs. When he watched it, he knew them much better. Right Herb!?

I really liked "Lolly,Lolly,Lolly Get Your Adverbs Hear". It has a really catchy tune that makes you want to watch the whole video. I kind of agree with Andrew that these videos can get annoying sometimes, but other times they're really cool to watch. Adverbs and adjectives are similiar.
