Hi Readers!
Today we thought about the characters that we have met while reading Krindlekrax. There have been a lot of them.
Ruskin, our main character, is pretty unique. I think we may all have a pretty similar picture in our heads as Philip Ridley really painted a clear pictures with his descriptions of what Ruskin looks like. For that matter, he really did the dame for many of the other characters as well.
The class seemed to have a harder time coming up with adjectives that described each character, it was definately easier for you all to draw that picture!
I would like you, for today's post, to think about the main character in the book you are now reading for your independent choice. In at least 5 sentences ( that means you can certainly write more......), please describe your character with adjectives. I do not want a physical description of what they look like, but what they are like as a person. Not as easy as the picture......but, if you are reading deeply and think about your character, you should be able to come up with a description of what your character is like as a person. It is a good idea to give examples to back up how you describe your character. For example, Ruskin is a brave boy. An example of this is that in class, he tells Elvis exactly what he thinks of his bad acting, even though there may be repercussions from Elvis later.

Hi Mrs. S, the character in my book (Percy jackson) is brave like when he goes on a quest. He is also daring like when battles monsters . He is kind to people and animals. He is caring to like wen he risks his life for people. And he is tough like wen he cut he keeps fighting.

I just finished a book called The Witchy Worries Of Abbie Adams, In it there is a character named Tom (A.K.A Thomas Edison). He is a very intelligent young kid. He also likes to invent stuff. I think he is very brave because he was not that frightened when he was the bait for Dr. March Hall ( the most wanted witch of all!!!)! I also think he is a very passionate , thoughtful and caring character!

Well I just started a new book today so I don't really know about the main character I don't even know who the main character is. Actually I will just tell you about the last book I read called Tangerine. The character Paul he is smart, athletic, helpful and kind also brave. Smart well he just seemed smart to me. Athletic because he plays soccer. Helpful because when there was a sinkhole he helped some students out. Kind because he just seemed kind when he helped kids out of the sink hole and brave because he stood up for himself to say he could see fine to be on the soccer team and brave because he helped kids out of the sinkhole. from fuzzel/lauren

I am reading a book called Flush. The main character in my book is named Noah. Noah is so far a bit shy. But Noah is pretty brave.Once he went out of his house
in the middle of the night and went on his bike to a ship full men to spy. Noah is also strong, his father is in jail and he had to talk to a newspaper reporter about what happened with his father and he didn't get sad or mad. He is also nice.

selfish,bossy. These are some adjectives that describe Elvis. I think that one main adjectives that describes Elvis is persisent.so he makes sure he gets what he wants.those are some adjectives that describe Elvis.

Hi! It's Ben. The book I'm reading is called If You're Reading This Book It's Too Late. The main character, Max-Ernest (long story), is a very strange child. He cuts his hair evenly because his doesn't want to favor them. He gets picked on at school for telling the same bad joke at school every day, and when talking to another person, he goes in a whole other direction on the same topic. I can't wait to read more about who this character is.
Haleys a fifteen-year-old girl with average height, average weight and a good sense of style. Haleys dad gets a new job and then they half to move some were elce. Haley has to go to her first public school. Shes never been to a public school be for.

Well right now I'm reading Bone 1. The main character is Bone. Bone is Brave very brave. He stood up to the Rat Creatures for Miz possums kids. Another way Bone is when he and his brothers got chased by locusts they got separated, he didn't run right back to Boneville he, kept moving forward. Bone also wants a few things. He wants to find his brothers and then return to Boneville.

im just started reading "unbrella summer" so i dint know anything yet about it so ill tell you about the last book i read. Its called "a crooked kind of perfect".
It doesn't really say anything about her but ill try. Her name is Zoe. She wants to be a prodigy at piano. Brave to get up in frount of a croud for the first time ever and play the organ. Easy going cause she wasn't mean to her dad when he for got. Except when you practice something hard and cant do it Zoe, the charactor.

Hi people! I'm reading 2 books now but the one i know most about the main characters is Fablehaven #2. one of the main characters Seth is, sort of selfish, stupid, caring, clueless, and brave. His sister Kendra is different. she is magical, worrier, brave, caring. the other one that i am reading now is Deep and Dark and Dangerous. the main character so far is caring, and feels like her mom won't let her grow up. Alie[?] feels like she is being kept on a leash like a dog which her mom is controling. They both are very good books.

In my book there is a girl named Thea and she is very shy ever since she lost her best friend"Gwen" Thea has been lying ever since then and she has all these truths insude of her that she wants to let out!.Her mom gives her a notebook to write 100 truths. I think Thea felt very silly. Thea is the kind of person who gets anoyyed really easliy witch is bad because she has a 7 year old cousin named Joclyen who Thea is staying with.Thea is very protective of Joclyen for a certain reason but I can NOT tell you. I just finished Thunder Cave by Roland Smith. It was a really good book, I think your class would like it. I finished Jaguar, the sequel to Thunder Cave, a couple of days before Thunder Cave. Right now I'm on The Last Lobo, the sequel to Jaguar.
