Hello Room 2308 Readers!
We keep hearing about Gabriel and Frita's lists of things they are scared of, but do not know exactly what are on them, especially Frita's.
What things do you think Frita might have on her list and why?
What would you put on your own list if you made one?

Hi room 2308ers. I think Freita is going have more silly things to be afraid of like a different food or something like that. I think that mainly because of when she put down "brussel sprouts" on her list. But I think Gabe has more reasonable things on his list than Freita. If I made a list, it would most likely have alligators, wild snakes (except for garden snakes), and scary movies on it. I can't wait to find out what else is on Freita's list.

I love this book it's so interesting. I think Frita might have something on her list that when the class hears you read we'll all gasp. Everyone sort of gets a hint that Frita is very tough and is not a wimp. So I'm not sure what the exciting thing on her list might be, but I think it might be something sort of wimpy and she trying to hide it from Gabe. If I had a list I would put bumble bees on it also spiders, sharks, tigers, dying, coyotes, climbing a tree and heights. there is probably more stuff that I'm scared of that I can't think of right now!!!!!

That is one of the questions I wanted to know, what was on the rest of Freta and Gabe's list's. Freta list is hard to predict. Maybe Freta will have the bullies dad that called her a mean name. I don't know, Freta didn't seem scared of him, just kinda mad. She could be afraid of him. And so far I can predict Gabe has almost everything. All the bugs you can think of, some people, some places, and more. If I were to have a list I would have singing a solo in front of people, jellyfish, and sharks.

Hi its jp I think that she is scared of watching bugs die because when. Gabriel stomped on the. Centipede. and that my lil buddies is why. i think she is scared of. Watching bugs get stepped on.

I don't really know what would be on Frita and Gabes lists. I don't know if they said anything about this yet but I think Gabe is really afraid of Frita's brother. Also Frita doesn't really show that she is afraid of anything but I think she is afraid of all the people she has wrestled or fought. Especially Mr. Evans because I think he might send Duke to beat her up or something.
If I made a list I would probably put big poisonious spiders, big snakes, sharks... pretty much anything that can scare me or kill or hurt me. Love,Fuzzel/lauren

I think that Frita's list has heights,passing out,dying,not being able to swim or anything else like that. On my list would be getting attacked by a shark,breaking ice on a lake and falling through,doing something embarrassing in public. By the way Mrs.Simonds. I think you just might want advantage of our fears. Just kidding I know you wouldn't do that.

Well little by little we hear about Gabriel's things on his list which is a lot! Frita is not scared of much but I do think she might be scared of dying and choking. That's all I can think of considering there are not much hints to what she is afraid of. My list would probably be short. One thing I'm afraid of is losing my snake because that would be bad. Another thing I'm scared of is choking. I know a few thing that Julia S will be scared of, which is spiders. But you will just have to wait to find out all the others she's scared of. Ooh I just thought of another thing I'm afraid of it is getting in a car accident. But I'm NOT scared of any bugs! I am so excited to find out what all of you are afraid of. I'll learn so much!

hi I think she put dead things and the road. Because she said she was and brussell sprouts.
I would say spiters,bugs,sharks,things that look like huge fish in the water,jumping off a bridge,sharp things,and not seeing what is hitting me under the tabel right now.

Frita might have on her list things that might have to do with integration,segration and all of those things that have to do with skin color. Maybe some things might be Duke Evans, I even was sort of scared how Mrs. Simonds described him. Maybe also what might happen in the future to people with a different skin color. No one should be treated differently because of their skin color. What I might put on my list of things I am scared of or don't like is probably getting tickled for too long, clowns and venomous snakes. I think that Frita was faking the stuff that we've heard about. I think that because when she said she hated brussel sprouts, she ate them like she had never had them before. But Gabe had proof. He saw her eat her mama's brussel sprouts.

I was supprized how Frita was scared of bruselspirouts. But when she put a ton of chocolate sauce and flouded them with icecream, it must have took away the really bad taste of bruslespirouts. Gabe shouldn't have been so afraid of the centipied, because he has a spider, Jimmy. Frita must really like animals, because she was really sad when Gabe killed the centipeid. I forget what Frita named it. Or maybe she was just excited of having a pet, and Gabe with the spider.

Well, so far it looks like Frita's plan is starting to work. Gabe's not so very afraid of spiders anymore and is maybe even starting to like them. And the basement with the lights on, doesn't look so scary. He might of been so scared of the basement, because the posters to him maybe kind of came to life. Pluse Gabe isn't very found of Treerins.

It is hard to tell what frita has on her list because she dose not seem to be scared of a lot. The reason I think that is she can help gabe with everything he has on his list and that is a lot of things. I rely like the the ways they over come there fears. Especially Jimmy the spider.

Hi Mrs.Simonds, I really don't know what I would put on my list. I think Frita might have stuff on her list that are similar to what Gabe has on his list. I can't wait to hear what's next on Frita and Gabe's list. I wonder what other books this author wrote. If you find any other books like this that the author wrote please tell me! I think that some things on Frita's list might be... well to be honest, I cant think of anything that Frita would be scared of! I think some things that I would put on my list are: tiny dogs running at me, roller coasters with loops, and break a bone! Well actually now that I think about it (REALLY HARD!) I think that losing her bet with Gabriel so she has to go back to 4th grade might be on Frita's list! I think that because Frita was really kind of upset when Gabe said that he would not be going to fifth grade, and because she was so excited about moving up to fifth grade! Well I thought about what I would add to my list a little more and I thought of one more thing, scary movies!!!!!

Yay I was right Fritas brother was on Gabes list.I wasn't sure what would happen but Gabe is afraid.It seemed like Gabe would have kept that to himself but too bad.Today I was thinking about how it said in the book something like Gabe and Frita or Frita jumped off the rope swing lots of times after Duke and the rest of the sixth graders left so I'm not sure if it was Gabe and Frita or just Freeda.Yours Truly,

Today we read the next few chapters after making ginger bread houses. They were really good. I was surprised when I found out Gabriel and Frita were scared of a rope swing. I was so happy when Gabriel faced his fear of Duke and the rope swing. Gabriel should cross off Duke on his list. We also found out Mrs. Evans isn't dead. This book keeps getting even more exciting every chapter. Everyone what book do you like better Krindlekrax or The Libreation Of Gabriel King???? I can't decide.

The Liberation of Gabriel King is the best read aloud I've ever heard. I think that Frita has Mr Evans on her list and that is it. I think she has him on his list because he called her the n word. I would put spiders,snakes,big bugs,and vicious dogs on my list.
My favorite part in the story is when Frita beats up Duke.

I think that frita's list has the most weirdist things on her list that we prabaly wouldn't be scared of. So she might have vegitables on her list or paper. Plus if I had to make a list i would put cliffs,climbing trees and so on. Because I can't think of any thing right now.

I hope you had a good christmas.Um I think gabe should be like Frita and Frita should be like Gabe. Because usually boys are tougher than girls but in this case it is not true. Yet. I think in the end Gabe will be tougher and will like fifth grade.Because alot of stories end that way but sometimes they don't.

If I had a list, some of the things I would put, vaccuums. I know it's odd. They just creep me out. So vaccuums, Sometimes spiders, and worms. I wonder what the reat of Fritas list is. Gabe never thought that she was even afraid of anything. Whos knows how he will face Duke Evans.

Well, now we know. The ku klux klan is something on Frita's list. I bet if Terrance had a list, the ku klux klan would be on his too. I'm thinking Frita won't be crossing off Mr. Evans for a while. I wonder if both Gabe and Frita will have enough time to finish their lists before school starts.

Well this is not really about the blog question ,but you had not put up a blog yet, and I wanted to post one now so here is my blog. I think that it was really mean when Frita and Gabe went to the fireworks and Frita went to go talk to Mr. Evens , and he whispered to her that "you better watch out , or the Klan will get you."! I also think that it is really sad what happened to Frita's family with the Klu klux klan, and when we read that part it made me feel really bad! I realized that when we where reading the book,when Gabe and Frita thought they heard the twig snap in the tent it made me think, wow that is pretty much what happened with Gabe and the spider! My prediction are that Mr. Evens is in the Klu klux klan because he hates dark people, and he called Frita that mean name! When we read the book today I thought it was very interesting and sad when we found out why Frita's brother hates white people so much!

Hay, I am commenting on Ben's blog. I did not think of this before but after I read Bens blog it made me think, wow I think that Ben is right! Frita probably dose have some weird stuff on her list. I mean after all she seams like she is not afraid of a lot of regular things, and she did put Brussels sprouts on her list so she may have other crazy things on her list! I also think that Frita is scared of a couple of things, But she just hides it! I think that because,... well I don't really know how to explain it, it just seems to me that she is actually afraid of a lot of things she just hides it!

Welcome back from brake everyone! I had so much fun, I did so much stuff and had a great Christmas! Well, I thought of a few more things that scared of which are:
Little tiny mice jumping out onto my face, clowns, planes and falling through ice. The reason why I say I'm scared of mice attacking me is because they could scratch me and bite me and damage my face. The reason why I'm scared of clowns is because there just really scary besides lot's of people are scared of clowns. Probably because of that freaky looking stare they have that gives you the feeling there watching your every move. Now the reason why I'm scared of planes is they could fall and I could dye. Now finally the reason I'm scared of falling through ice is, it would be cold and I would probably get frost bite and have to cut off my fingers and toes.

I am blogging again about nothing. I have to blog at least three times a week and I am trying so hard to do it, but there is never a new blog started. So just to make sure I get my homework done, I will make up a blog.
I had a good vacation. I did a lot of things and saw my whole family. I stayed up late and I ate lots of food. I tried to catch a couple of fish at a fishing party but instead, I slipped and went all matrix to catch myself.

I can't believe Frita is afraid of the "ghosts". She doesn't seem like the kind of girl to be afraid of them. I agree with Georgia the book is very interesting it sort of pulls you in with secrets at the end of most chapters that leave you hanging and want to read more.I can't believe Frita put brussel sprouts on her list I thought it was a list of things she was scared of. Well I don't know. I am really tired I am still not used to getting up at six I'm used to sleeping in on vacation.

I think that Freita is going to have some things that are not as scary.Like on Gabes he had spiders on it and that was really, really scary. Some of the things on my list would be trantulas, little spiders, falling threw ice and pit bules.(big scary dogs)I was kindove sad to finish the book.

Hi Mrs.Simonds, Ben at I first thought the same thing about Frita's list but it turned out Frita had some really big things on her list. Such as losing Gabe and Terrence moving but there were some small things to like kissing.I also agree about Gabe's list. He has some very big things on there like 5th grade if I were him I wouldn't let Duke Evans ruin 5th grade for me. Well I hope we read another book like that love Julia Horrigan

I know we all have to die but I really don't want to.I think gabe has good resons for having so many things on his list I mean some people have more scary thing in life then others. I bet one of the things on Freita's list is going to be somthing like Sharks. There are so many things that gabe is scared of i can't even imagin what is on there.

My family members dying, my dog getting hit by a car,
the power being out for 1 month and my friends dying.
Most of the things i'm scared of involve dying. But dying can be a scary thing. I just thought of another thing. It is some of my friends moving away and schools being closed, so i can't see them. I mean wouldn't you hate if all your friends moved away and then you had to make all these new friends? It would be like going to a new school. =^_^=.
