I think she is nice because she is making cards for Jason even though she barely knew him. She can be mean sometimes to David, but I would probably be mad to. Mrs. Simonds if someone brings in "The Bee Movie" can we watch it? Also I'm sorry about your bees. Do you have any idea why they left? Okay, back to Catherine.... ummm..... She gets frusterated with David because he is otistic and she wishes she had a normal brother that she could play with.

I learned that Catherine knows she shouldn't have high hopes, but she does. She definitely thinks the girl next door will be exactly like her. I am going to make a prediction (even though I have already read the book, O almost completerly forget what happens). I think the girl is going to be nothing like what Catherine thinks she is going to be like. The wierd thing is that I can't remember what happens in the book right now, but when I read the parts I don't remember, I completely remember. I LOVE this book!!! Adios for now!!!

Catherine really wants Jason to feel like a normal kid. She put words in that kids are using right now instead of boring words like his mom put in. I was confused why she did Guinea Pig. Maybe she wanted Jason to "talk" with her about her life because she didn't have many people to talk about it with her right now. I know this sounds kind of weird but she was brave to make the cards for Jason. Some people may not have done that because they would have been too afraid to do something like that for someone like Jason. She could have simply said "no" and changed the whole story.

I think the words that Cathrine came up with were neat, because some of them were her hobbies and Jason might read and might want to try what she does most. Some of her words were a little weird but there hers and I van't change them. i can't wait to read the next chapter and see if Jason likes them, if he doesn't I think Cathrine will feel really bad and not want to do it again.

In a way, I think that Catherine is clever because when she made the password for her computer, she made it really long and hard so that David wouldn't figure it out. I think that's really clever because I would make sure that my brothers couldn't go near the computer and get by me and go on my account. This way that Catherine did it, she would know he wouldn't figure it out. Clever!
I also think that from this chapter, you can really see that her life is a routine. Like when David came in and said, "No toys in the fish tank," she even has routines for little things. Also making everything David-proof. This goes back to the password "antropological". She has a routine to make sure she has privacy.
I kind of think that Catherine is a little selfish. She wants the girl all to herself(neighbor). She especially doesn't want Ryan to be friends with her because she doesn't want him to say bad things about her and the things she's done to him.

P.S. I feel like Catherine is a really good artist but when you look in the back at the guinea pig, no offence, it's not that great...(It's very cute, though not realistic)

I learned that she is nice and that she has patience with her brother. I think this because she stood up for her brother when he was called a retard. She pushed Ryan the boy who called him this. She is brave to stand up for her brother to the other kids. She is a good sister I think he is happy and lucky to have her. Mullet man Noah

I learned that her parents don't always get along. I think that Catherine wants her parents to know that she's not always in charge of David. Catherine is always worrying what people will think of her in public. I think she is always embrassed when people stare at him. I think Catherine should except the disability as somthing natural. catherine sometimes gets annoyed with her brother david because he is autistic. but it isn't his fault because he doesn't know what he is doing. i think that catherine gets closer to david when she spends more time with jason. i also thought that it was mean when the boy ryan called david a bad name because he was autistic. i learned from reading this book that everyone is different.
